SYNOPSIS “Oceanes” is the single from Clara Peya’s album *Oceanes*, a tribute to women through the element of water. “Water is calm and fury, cleansing, purification; water flows; it represents depth, immensity, motherhood, and birth. We are water. In Greek and Roman mythology, the Oceanids were nymphs—daughters of Oceanus and Tethys. Each was associated with a spring, sea, river, or lake. I have decided to transform certain women who have passed through my life into *Oceanes*—women of water.”
